M56 Junction 7 Eastbound
There is the intention to restore the main carriageway to three lanes between the exit and entry slip roads to provide a long auxiliary lane for merging traffic.
Work is due to start on Tuesday August 26th and will take 4 months to complete.
To keep delays and disruptions to a minimum, all work will be carried out between the hours of 8pm and 5am on weekdays and whenever possible between 8pm and 7am at weekends.
There will be occasions when full closures of the M56 carriageway or the slip roads are necessary and, during these times, clearly signed diversions will be in operation.
